The mandate of the School among others is to train, conduct research and disseminate knowledge in the area of natural resources management. It trains students to attain knowledge, skills, and intellectual independence to contribute their quota towards national development. The School is one of the foundation Schools and its vision is to become a center of excellence in the training of critical human resources for efficient utilization of our natural resources.
Our faculty are nationally and internationally recognized with so many top awards, including an award won by the circle ISP and the Relab project. Vital to the excellence, creativity, and innovation at the School of Natural Resources is our continued resolve in promoting diversity and inclusiveness. Our student Ms. Afranewaa Nana Ama Boadu won the overall best student with a GPA of 3.94 out of 4.0 at the 2019/2020 Academic year.
