The School of Natural Resources (SoNR) has a proud history of being the pioneer school among the seven schools at the University of Energy and Natural Resources. The School was established to provide a vibrant robust leadership and innovation in natural resources to meet the increasing knowledge and research demand of societal, industrial and environmental needs. The School takes a comprehensive approach to teaching, research and engagements that encompasses social and economic needs whilst protecting the planet's natural resources for now and future generations. It is dedicated to producing highly skilled graduates' whiles generating, advancing and applying science-based information for the sustainable management and utilization of natural and environmental resources.
